It is described as a ‘unique college sports-themed musical potty chair’ launching with the 2008 football & basketball seasons.
As a mother, I know that any extra opportunity to motivate your child to be potty trained is jumped on. Apparently when the child ‘flushes’ the potty chair, it will play the fight song from their favorite sports team, accompanied by a recording of adults cheering them as if they are watching a game, so the child experiences the excitement of their reward.
Also coming soon is the Personalized Potty Chair which does not have a sports theme but allows parents to personalize by recording their favourite music or even themselves talking to the child. I can’t wait to see if it catches on! Apparently, as a personalized gift idea, it rocks and has speeded up potty training considerably – which is also a great gift for the parents!
