Buying that very first present for a new baby in the world is exciting. It’s your chance to share the joy brought into a home by that tiny person and to show how much you care.
As a recent new auntie, (last week in fact!) for the first time this is a child which I will love almost like my own, minus the labour pains, and for that reason, I immediately want to purchase something very special and memorable for my brother’s first little bundle of joy – a personalized baby gift.
Obviously, we have already done the ‘useful’ steam sterilizer gift for them, which you always want to do with family. The focus when a family member has a baby is always on providing things which will help them out rather than increase the array of newborn clothes and toys which will come from those who are not so closely related.
But as an over-excited auntie, I can’t just sit back and watch these beautiful toys and gift coming and be satisfied looking at my sterilizer – after all, my nephew will not be playing with it anytime soon! So, my thoughts immediately turn to what I can provide, without breaking the bank as I’ve already bought a gift, which will give my nephew a little something special which is his, from his auntie, uncle & 2 little cousins.
As I am also based in a different country to him, something that can make up for all the cuddles I am missing out on, leads me to a soft plush toy, and as a big fan, I will also be sending him the personalized kids Gund baby lamb gift that I feature on this blog. As I know it’s safe for him also, I know mummy and daddy will be happy with my choice too. I can’t wait to see him snuggling up to it on the webcam!
